Rebecca Mugridge is Dean of University Libraries. Prior to her appointment as Dean of University Libraries, she was Director for Technical Services and Library Systems during which she oversaw the Acquisitions; Cataloging; Cataloging Management Services; and Systems departments. She previously held positions at the Pennsylvania State University, Yale University, Robert Morris University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Rebecca has a B.A. from Penn State, an M.L.S. from the University of Pittsburgh, and an M.B.A. from Robert Morris University.

Mary Van Ullen is the Director for Collections. Previously, she served as the Subject Librarian for Business, Economics, and Geography and Planning. Prior to coming to the University at Albany, she was employed as a special librarian in the electronics, materials and biotechnology fields, where she specialized in business intelligence, technical information and intellectual property.

Deborah Bernnard is the Director of the Public Services Division which is made up of Access Services, Reference and Research Services, the Information Literacy Department and the Interactive Media Center. Previously, Deborah served as the Head of the Dewey Graduate Library. She has also been the Information Studies Subject Librarian and the User Education Librarian at the Dewey Graduate Library. Deborah has a B.A. from Fairfield University and a M.L.S. from the University at Albany.

Deborah is also an adjunct instructor in the College of Computing and Information's Department of Information Studies. She teaches Information Literacy Instruction: Theory and Technique as well as Collection Development.

Jan Waterhouse is the Director of the Technical Services and Library Systems Division, which is made up of the Acquisitions Services, Discovery Services, Metadata Services, and Library Systems departments. Prior to coming to the University at Albany, she served in director roles at West Virginia University and University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS), as an implementation manager at OCLC, a technical analyst in an information consortium, and other library systems positions.

She received an undergraduate degree in computer science, with a minor in mathematics, and a graduate degree in library and information science from The University of Iowa. She is completing a second master’s degree in IT Management and Leadership from UIS, where she also completed a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and specializes in providing effective management and leadership at the intersection of technology, people, and projects.

Catherine M. Dwyer is the Director of Scholarly Communication and the Head, Dewey Graduate Library. Previously, she served as the Head of the Reference Department and Government Information Librarian. Prior to coming to the University at Albany, she was the Government Documents Librarian at the Troy Public Library. She specializes in criminal justice, political science, public administration and policy, and law.

Peter Recore-Migirditch is the Director of Finance & Administration for the University Libraries at the University at Albany, SUNY. Reporting to the Dean & Director of University Libraries, he is responsible for fiscal management, budgetary systems, internal controls and facilities management. He received a B.S. from the State University College at Plattsburgh and an M.P.A from the University at Albany, SUNY. He joined the University in 1981 as an Administrative Director with the Department of Residential Life & Housing.

As the Director of Finance & Administration, he is responsible for the Administrative Services Unit, which includes the Library Budget Office, Library Accounting, Shipping & Receiving, library purchasing and vended copy & print services. He manages the maintenance, renovation, space utilization and capital improvements of Albany's three library facilities. For the New Library, Mr. Recore-Migirditch's responsibilities included preparing bid specifications, purchasing and installation of all the furniture, equipment, compact shelving, book stacks and fixtures. Opening the new library building included the management and coordination of moving over 600,000 volumes into the building. He is currently finishing a $3 million project to renovate and refurnish the Dewey Library (circa 1909) and the 30-year-old University Library.
